American football wide receiver Terrell Owens has just found himself in a very interesting and strange battery case.
Battery cases are not interesting, they are serious cases and many readers might be surprised why we are referring to Owens’ battery case as interesting.
Well, besides the word interesting, the word ‘ridiculous’ can also be used to describe Terrell Owens’ battery case.
Now, here is what happened. The incident occurred on Tuesday at a Starbucks Coffee in Brentwood, California.
Terrell happened to be at the coffee shop when his alleged victim a 28-year-old man noticed him and started screaming out his name. Terrell, who didn’t like what the man was doing, asked the man to stop it. Apparently the man didn’t stop screaming his name and that got Terrell angry enough to confront the man.
According to the man, Terrell tripped him later as walked past him.
And as Terrell made his way into his car to leave, the man allegedly hurled insults at Terrell – even allegedly using the n-word. Of course Terrell got so furious with the man, he got out of his car and threw a Starbucks paper coffee cup at the man.
The man later claimed that he had been injured by Terrell and called the police and paramedics.
Interestingly, when the police and paramedics arrived, they found no evidence of injury on the man. But the man still claims Terrell threw a paper coffee cup at him and injured him.
It might interest readers to know that not only did the police not find any injury on him, but they also didn’t see any coffee stain on his clothes.
According to police, they are still investigating the incident.
We can’t help but wonder if our guy was injured when he was allegedly tripped by Terrell or as a result of the paper coffee cup being thrown at him. Hmm…what a crazy world!
Isn’t this just one of the most ridiculous battery cases you have ever heard?
