According to reports coming our way from the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas where former NBA star Lamar Odom is battling for his life, Lamar’s condition is gradually improving and his heart is responding.
It’s really not clear at this moment how authentic these reports coming our way are.
TMZ said they earlier received information from their sources close to Lamar that on Friday morning his heart was functioning much better.
There are also other unconfirmed reports coming from other news sources that Lamar can now slightly move certain parts of his body and that he even opened his eyes at some point on Friday morning.
USA Today also published that their sources at the Las Vegas hospital confirmed that Lamar’s improvement had reached a point where he was able to communicate in some way.
Once again we cannot confirm all these reports. But what we can confirm is the fact that no matter how you look at it, Lamar’s condition is currently better than it was when he was first rushed to the hospital in a state of unconsciousness and with his heart failing.
While Lamar is showing signs of improvement, it’s important to note that the 35-year-old is still not out of the woods considering the fact that he still can’t breathe on his own and not all his vital organs are functioning the way they should.
On October 13, 2015, Lamar was found unresponsive at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch, a legal brothel located in Nevada after spending four days there. He reportedly spent $75,000 during the four days he had been at the brothel.
It is believed that drugs played a major role in causing Lemar’s collapse at the Love Ranch on October 13.
