I was flabbergasted beyond words when I came across the story of a cow or rather calf with two heads was born in Peru. For those of you who don’t know where Peru is, it is a country in South America.
The two-headed calf was born in a farm in Vista Alegre in the Cajamarca region of Peru to the shock of the owner of the farm, the village, the country and of course the entire world.
The birth of the two-headed calf left many locals into the world of superstition. Some said the birth of the strange calf was a sign of good omen from God whereas others said it was a sign of bad omen. Others even said the strange creature was from the devil.
No matter how you look at it, many locals were filled with fear and wonder after the birth of the calf. Do you blame them considering the fact that the calf has two heads with two a nose, a pair of eyes and a mouth on each of the fully formed head? If that isn’t weird, then we can’t help but wonder what is.
Anyway, the owner of the farm, Edward Villegas told reporters that the two-headed calf shocked him greatly. He said he had no clue how that happened. He added that the calf was so weak that it didn’t have the strength to stand up on its own. Villegas therefore had to feed it himself.
According to scientists, the birth defect wasn’t anything spiritual and was likely caused by a congenital defect that occurred while the mother was pregnant.
